Entry Services

From receiving the admission letter to successfully moving into the dormitory, we have mapped out the standard timeline for arriving in China:

🛂 Visa Application

Apply for an X1 (long-term) or X2 (short-term) study visa at the Chinese embassy/consulate with your JW201/202 form and admission letter.

🛬 Entry & Health Certification

After arriving at a Chinese port of entry, go to the local International Travel Healthcare Center within the specified time to complete the medical examination report certification.

🏫 Registration & Accommodation

Go to the university's International Students Office to complete academic registration, get your campus ID card, and check into your dormitory.

🏢 Residence Permit Application

Holders of an X1 visa must go to the local exit-entry administration department to apply for a Foreigner's Residence Permit within 30 days of entry.
